President - Liz Dearborn
I joined the Artemis Charitable Foundation™ in the fall of 2005, and became President of Artemis in the fall of 2006, continuing through 2008. I was drawn to Artemis by its mandate of supporting grass-roots organizations that help women and children, something very close to my heart. What has kept me with Artemis, are the women involved. They are all passionate about what Artemis does and are an inspiration to me on a regular basis. I leave every meeting or event feeling more inspired to do more to help others, friends, family, and to work be a better person and have a better place in our world.
Last June, just before Artemis’ main event of the year – The Gallery Calorie tour, I delivered my first child, a beautiful little boy. I now stay home taking care of him on a fulltime basis. It truly is the most rewarding,, and challenging job there is. And worth every minute!!. I spend as much time as I can with him, and my wonderful husband, and my entertaining Chesapeake Bay Retriever, “Chester”,. We try to still traveling when we can., and as our son grows we are excited to show him more of the world. In the fall I will add back in running an Interior Decorating/Design business from my home, part -time,
