Who do we help?
Calgary-based charities seeking funds for whom our contribution will make a significant impact. We typically support organizations focused on women and children, however, other causes, including special causes associated with our members, will also be considered.

Mission Statement
Artemis Foundation positively impacting our community.

Artemis Foundation was established in November of 1999, initially as Women in Motion Society, a non-profit organization. In 2004, Women in Motion became Artemis Foundation.

Currently, Artemis consists of 15 members. We are looking for dynamic young women (ok, young at heart) to get involved. Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt, known for a strong, independent nature as well as being the protector of women and children. Artemis Foundation identified with this character, as our mandate is to assist women and children, by contributing to causes that better their lives. Combine our mandate with our membership - strong, independent, educated professionals, many of whom are entrepreneurs and leaders, and the connection is clear. Finally, since all our members are goddesses at heart, Artemis was the logical choice.
