Melody was raised & educated in Calgary, Alberta Her unique hand drawn work has evolved to become a popular art form enjoyed by many. Her God given gift was recognized & encouraged as a toddler by her Mother. All of her pieces are strictly from the subconscious through her emotions. Many people ask her what tools are used to create the fine lines. No tools are used, other than a wide range of pens and a steady hand. Some of her work is layered with acrylic & texture, utilizing brushes & painting knives. The name My “Escape” Art embodies her passion and joy for art that she has felt her entire life.
