Jacqulynn Mulyk

As I walk the smells, sounds, sights and vibrations of the city wrap around me like a blanket, making its impression. Each city has its own unique encoding and I work to decipher this code through my paintings. I travel to different cities and record my experiences through photography, journalling, sketching and video. This research comes back to the studio with me where I create the original paintings using ink, pastel, collage, oil and acrylic paints.
