Wendy Palmer

Wendy Palmer has always been intrigued by nature and the vast variety of subject matter that is everywhere to be found. She has always been fascinated by how nature changes with every second of the day, and with wildlife, their unique and instinctive personalities. Every artist thrives on passions and obsessions. Bringing to life an expression in an animal or establishing the intimate mood of a landscape is Wendy’s passion. “When my painting starts to come to life and I can feel the texture and envision the illusion of light, the excitement to finish the painting erupts.” Wendy’s love for nature and art combined has helped her generate this unique realism into her paintings Wendy is Alberta born and presently resides on an acreage just outside of Calgary in the Foothills Municipality with her husband, Keith, and two boys, Brendan and Richard.
