Renee Metcalfe This piece has been inspired by a recent trip that I made with my family to the West Coast. The totem represents a rooted connection between the > land and the people. I wanted to create something Canadian to champion this cause. I have been creating art in one way or another my whole life. It was my fifth-grade teacher that really sparked my passion for art by giving me the opportunity to explore various media as well as coaching me to pursue my potential. |
