Held every June, the Gallery Calorie Tour is known for showcasing some of Calgary’s finest restaurants and art galleries through a self-guided walking tour.
Restaurants offer tour participants samples from their bars and menus, galleries offer samples of fine liquors or wines as well as catered menu items from participating restaurants to enjoy while viewing their fine display of local and non-local artists.
Participants enjoy the sights and sounds of 17th Ave, including the last venue, the Wrap-Up Party held in Tomkins Park, featuring live entertainment, silent auction, our 3rd Annual Art Race, and a live band to dance the night away under the stars.
In the past seven years, the Gallery Calorie Tour has sold out, with over twenty seven hundred community minded art and restaurant enthusiasts embracing the atmosphere and tastes of 17th Ave SW.

Schedule for the Day-Of
The tour doors open at 12 noon at Tomkins Park.
The tour goes from 1 - 4pm along 17th Avenue.
The Party in the Park starts at around four and goes to about seven.
The Art Race is at about 5:30 and the Silent Auction closes at about 6pm.
